War Thunder Tips and Techniques

War thunder is a game with a mix of air, tanks, and sometimes, ships, you can play as any of these in battle, there are a few classes like bombers, fighters, tank destroyers, gunships...

1. Fly above, higher, then fly down, you will gain speed rapidly and get behind theyre tail. - for planes

2. Try to get the jets, it is many times more powerful then the propeller planes

3. You will have to spend real money or else you not be getting anywhere, you cant even buy a plane.

4. This game is fun, but they are greedy for money, so if you want to progress, make sure you spend enough money.

5. Join custom games, its more fun the the pre mad ones, custom games can be modded with hacks too, the normal playing modes are meant for the new starters who just joined the game, so be sure to ignore that mode.

6. Realistic mode is very long, and wastes a lot of time for some realistic maps, it will take about 3 and a half real life hours to get from one end to the other, if you don't have that kind of time to waste, don't do it, realistic mode makes your vehicle very hard to control, for tanks, it might take about 6 hours to get to the nearest enemy vechicle, the you die, and the same cycle again.

7. Realistic mode gives you more control over your tank/plane, like you can ignite your engine with I or you have to watch your engine and oil, and the speed by yourself, and it is harder to fly, as there is a lot of air pushing on your plane, slanting it to one side, so you will have to compensate for it, even taking off is very difficult in realistic mode, there is not much change/difference for tanks, except that it will take longer to get through the map, try to stay as a team, so you will not get lost, in realistic mode, there are no markers to tell you where stuff is, unless you have a newer plane, which have radars, and it increases your chances of survival together.

8. In normal arcade mode, if you use the after burner for too long, it will automatically stop by itself, preventing it from damaging your plane, and its ignition is automatic,  and the plane is a lot easier to control, The arcade maps are usually smaller to save time.

9. This games has mods that help you customise your map or vehicle, so be sure to check it out as soon as possible, these can also be downloaded from websites-make sure it is trusted.

10. Do not hit the ground, it will damage your plane or kill you, be sure you pull up before you do so,

In realistic mode, you will have to constantly land on an airfield and constantly refill your fuel, ammo etc, the maps are very big, and your fuel will not last the map, so it is also more inconvenient if you play realistic mode, and make sure you have enough time to play realistic battle, or elses you will not be able to complete the battle in time, wasting your time.

13. Try not to choose a respawn area that is on a runway, as it is very easy to kill you, also try not to choose a respawn area that is too high, it will take very long to get into combat.

14. Retract your flaps when going at high speeds, it will break, the you will have a unbalanced side, and your plane will keep tilting if the other side doesn't come off, and when it comes off, your plane will sway to a side for a second, if you want, you can also use this to doge bullets, this will happen to your landing gear and wings.

15. Your wings might break off if you are moving very fast, and make sudden jerking movements, when you are moving faster, it will have a greater chance of breaking off, when you are moving faster, there is more G force, making it easier for your pilot to lose control.

16. Use the aiming circle given in arcade mode, to hit distant targets/targets moving fast.

17. Try not to crash, you will lose points for your team, and you will have to respawn, you can crash purposely if you want to annoy the enemy, if you were hit before, and you crash, the enemy will be credited instead, so you are giving the enemy free points, so be sure you weren't hit during that period of time.

18. Focus on researching one country/category at a time, once you reach the specific tear, it will unlock the rest of the groups, so you don't have to waste time, and money, in this game, money is precious and hard to get, so be sure not to waste it unnecessarily on things that you don't want too, its also good if you get some variety, like bombers, fighters and heavy strikers, you don't need to have a bomber, then a dive-bomber, as it is unnecessary.

19. If you are trying to chase enemies, and in a turn, do not set your plane at full-throttle, set it at half or less, it will be easier to make a circle, and you will be able to catch the enemy faster, killing them, and scoring more for your team, and having more money.
